Crawling towards the false enlightenment
Kneeling against the wordless embrace
No higher strenght for those hopeless prayers
Useless echoes in the house of their faith
Those men of faith pleading for tomorrow
Eternally searching for the promised hope
The hollow paths for these crucified minds
And their endless crave towards the rotten halls of fate
Doomed are those roads of false enlightenment
When they seek for a glory, they'll find distress
Bleeding for the kingdom gone
The burden of endless weight
Tied unto them to carry
It's the grief that every man holds
Towards their stoned hearts
Blessed through the false enlightenment
Bleeding for the kingdom gone

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf

one of the best death doom bands so far. great melodies with great atmospheres. mostly slow, heavy and doomy but sometimes there are these groovy double-bass drum moments wich are pretty fucking cool. if you like death doom and melodic atmospheric black metal, this is for you. Sælzer Bub

This was truly a revelation. I was getting started with funeral doom, working on something with my headphones on... Then came Déluge... my jaw actually dropped, I stopped what I was doing and, wide-eyed, just listened to the track, baffled and amazed. After the album was over (I never do this), I went to lay down with my headphones to enjoy it over again.
I rarely heard (and felt) this much power and emotion in an album. Until I find something better, this is my landmark for peak funeral doom. fluo
